Young eagle spotted tiredly swimming miles offshore, sailor offers him a towel and helps the eagle ride to shoreline, sailor says: ‘He lives to fly another day’

We hear many stories about people saving dogs, cats, sometimes even raccoons and squirrels, but there are some wild animals you can never imagine accepting help from a mere human being…

There are wild animals, true wild animals, that walk through the earth with so much pride, and all we get to do is simply admire them from a distance. They don't involve themselves with us, and they stay on their side of nature, and we humans have to accept that and respect them from afar.

Eagles, for example, are such beautiful animals that not a lot of people can say that they got to see from up close. You might see one fly overhead, or even be lucky enough to get a closer glimpse with the help of binoculars, but these majestic creatures don't tend to land next to a human and say a casual hello.

When the man below came across a young eagle 1.5 miles offshore, trying to swim back to safety, it was clear that this was not the eagle's plan. You don't see eagles casually go for a swim, and it was clear to this sailor that this one was tired and struggling to stay afloat. The sailor decided to offer help to the beautiful eagle and made a makeshift raft to carry him all the way back to shore. Surprisingly, the eagle seemed to understand that the man was there to help, and willingly accepted the ride, even though he looked quite embarrassed by the whole ordeal.

We found this young Eagle swimming about 1.5 miles off shore, he looked very tired and the tide was ripping pretty hard, thankfully he was able to grab the towel and ride it to the shore line.

He wasn't hurt just very tired and wet, this isn't the first time we have seen a Eagle swimming , but never so far out and with the tide ripping he most likely wouldn't have made it to the shore. he managed t get him self up on the rocks in the video, after a couple hours of sun bathing he would of been ok to fly. he was most likely just a year to two years old , he definitely look embarrassed but he took our help and lives to fly another day.
